Rio Grande Campus boasts a rich history of education that has evolved alongside more than a century of innovation. Students enter the carefully preserved, 20th century building located in the heart of downtown Austin to find newly renovated classrooms, state-of-the-art labs and the ACCelerator — an interactive computer hub for individualized learning and customized support. After class, check out the Austin BMX and Skate Park close to campus.
At Rio Grande Campus, you can take classes that transfer to a four-year university or work toward an associate degree or workforce certification. The campus is home to the Army Futures Command Software Factory and the college’s co-enrollment program with UT-Austin. It also offers American Sign Language Interpreter Training and Human Services programs and classes.
